The AMTC
is coming to Minneapolis
October 2008!
|
Education Sessions
coming soon!
OK, we've heard a few concerns so we've checked it
out. The average temperature in Minneapolis in mid-late
October is 58 degrees. Embrace
the Midwest! Minneapolis is a beautiful, diverse and
exceptionally clean city - perfect to host the Air Medical Transport
Conference. Most of the downtown area is connected by indoor
skywalks so you never have to step outside if you don't want
to.

The AMTC is an annual exposition and conference that provides a
dynamic forum for virtually any individual involved in the medical
transport field program to network, learn, and share. The
conference is unique in that our education efforts are geared toward
BOTH the clinical and aviation aspects of the community. We offer
education sessions for the program director; nurse; paramedic;
physician; pilot; respiratory care practitioner; communications
specialist; mechanic; director of maintenance; director of operations;
CEO; CFO; hospital administrator; billing personnel; medical director;
aircraft manufacturer; aircraft operator – you name it,
we’ve got it! The AMTC facilitates a lively exchange of
information to help medical transport professionals respond to
constantly changing patient needs, and promotes industry advancement
through adaptation to new technologies. This is your chance to
meet with well over 2500 of energetic, influential professionals active
on all levels and in all areas of the medical transport
community.
The conference is supported by members of the Association of Air Medical
Services, the Air & Surface Transport Nurses Association, the Air
Medical Physician Association, the International Association of Flight
Paramedics, the National Association of Air Medical Communication
Specialists, and the National EMS Pilots Association. These
associations individually and cooperatively support educational and
research activities relating to the rapidly changing, diverse medical
transport field.
Housing/Accommodations
Due to the high demand in recent years for hotel rooms at the
AMTC, we are utilizing a housing bureau this year in Minneapolis.
Room blocks will open for conference attendees in mid-late May 2008.
